right , right..
i know 1 guy that has done few red tops swap to the S13 and he also for the black tops as well. He told me, the black top is more stronger but there is always something wrong and for the red tops its real good & not many problems to deal.
I guess red tops you can still make 300HP and thats plenty of good power for drifting.
Unless if I use my spare 2.6liter turbo engine (4 cylinders), wiseco pistons .20 over with 7:1 compression ratio, T04b 60-1 hi fi .70 A/R turbo and external turbonetics wastegate with 25psi of boost, Using Stock crankshaft and rods, upgrade single cam, non jet valve head, mpi intake, using ford mustang 4.6liter applications 1996-02 65mm t-body, delphi 72lbs(750cc) fuel injectors with SDS 4F fuel management system, boost controller, turbo timer, fidanza aluminum flywheel, ACT stage 3 clutch, new magna 2nd gen bare head from Australia, Heavy Duty Schneider Spring valves, mechanical slip rocker cam, and hitting 93 octg. gas only, i will make around 350hp with 420lbs of torque, i can still make extra 40 ponnies (hp) if i do some porting job in my magna 2nd gen head from australia thats extra($300 bucks just for the porting job) it will be near 390hp with 460lbs. of torque total, thats my badass autox/street car out off my beat up car from only $700 just for the car worth and $6000 on parts install and everything, not bad for $7000 worth fast beat up car.
Oh i wish i can use my hatchback chrysler for drifting but i don't see it, its a rear wheel drive with 2dr. no problem but i guess my car is more for Go !! than drifting. I rather pick better the S13 240sx for my project drift car specially 1 beat up S13. I will have to do lots of reading and research for Sr20Det engine i love (4 cylinders) less problems to deal, otherwise i can get the mighty god RB26DETT Engine. No way Jose!!! I don't like 6 cylinders. No way the rb26 is a (6 cylinders 2.6liter) my chrysler engine is turbo with 4 cylinders 2.6liter, man i love 4 cylinders.
