the tune being sketchy = plausible

incompatibility with blower and stock cam = not plausible.

i dont know who either of yall are, i really dont care, but to see bill's easy way out fag motor not work needs to get fixed, and somewhere in the thread seemed like yall were going to replace the stock cam, which isnt going to solve anything.

the blower/stock cam combo was just a theory that i came up with based on what i know to be true about 2001 LS1 camshafts. I thought that it could have been a possibility but after further research, im not seeing that as beeing a common issue although newer and older LS1s tend to make more power with the same blower.

Adam did mention that they were going to replace the heads and cam; not to fix any pre-existing issues; but just to change them, which is going to require retuning anyways. At that point, I want Ken to send me the car to tune it from scratch which should not only eliminate the cam as being an issue, but also the tune as well as getting the car more power from the hard parts installed.

Then Bill cant blame the car for anything, lol.

its a bad ass setup that simply needs some fine tuning, however i have full confidence in them and believe that the car will be running 100% soon.
2. i might be retarded and simply looking in the wrong place, however is there footage of the car sliding?? i wanna check it out

Well, ive been with this company for about 3 years and even though i could tune this thing myself easily, im not. Instead, I'm having my Gm guru do it who has been tuning these things for the past 10-11 years.

What issues do you have with diablosport?

he has bro. He's sayin check the car out and make sure everything is right. that bitch was thrown together alllll quick like. Somehting could have possibly not been done right, or the tune is weird. Fuck, maybe it just needs more boost. idfk man. Bill is a fucking serious driver and to watch him fight a car that much, means something must be up. Ya'll just need to go through the car and check her out.

I got all fired and stuff today, so I can come out if ya'll want.

This video and this video alone is what got me into drifting a few years ago.

I'm not trying to take anything away from Mike at all, but if he does have useful info aside from just knocking the build, let it flow man.

i just cant imagine a mechanical issue causing it to fail up top.
the tune is a definite possibility.
maggys just blow hot air after 6psi, so more boost would be a waist of time, money, effort.

Yeah, I'll be there. Gonna try and throw some lucas power steering stuff in there and hope for the best.

I live in Rockledge, so im like an hour and a half away. haha.
 
i've gone out of my way to say im not trying to be a dick several times, which is very out of character for me.

re-check what you already did, i've said that like m112 times...i'm willing to bet its something little and stupid thats acting up, and if you work with/for diablosport you know how finicky the pcm's are. obviously ive never seen this car so i have absolutely no clue what yall may/may not have done/overlooked.

i'm not a fan of the reflash/mail order tune stuff like diablosport. especially when there is phenominal tuning software like hptuners.

they also do blow a little bit hot air after 6psi, thats why there is an intercooler. but to say the heat is that bad is about on the same level of exaggeration as saying the friction created by moving parts is so great you lose power after 5000rpms.

personally id leave it as stock as possible until you get it 100% sorted out. you know you have at least one problem now. solve it before you change anything else, that way if you do happen to gain a new problem (we all know it happens) you can know where to look instead of chasing multiple problems at once.

also on the mike vs bill thing, i dont think theres a problem anymore, we handhugged and were good. we had a lot of fun at xat, then he left, then a pissing contest hapened that was super gay (not the good gay, but not as gay as batlground's 2nd place trophy with 1st place redone on it and f-bill sherman on it), then we handhugged, then fast and furious 4 came out.
