boost controller...

ok, ive been on hks.com for the past hour and they can help me. i just got the e-bst cntlr(2nd hand, no instrctns). it is the black limited, has a little screen, valve controller, and the dials..all seperate. i have the harness. wiring isnt a problem for me but how do i do the hoses? i need help installing this thing. thanks.

Electronic boost controllers are a pain. I ripped out my Greddy Profec 2 series out.
Just get a normal manual one..trust me.. Less things to go wrong lol.
Unless your a tune freak, then go ahead.

ok i got some progress. i got a line to go to the wastegate, then a line to vaccuum. the third line is to the turbo...so i have a stock turbo and i dont know where to put it. advice/help is greatly appreciated!

If I am not mistaken it pretty much serves as a "T" in the line between your turbo and wastegate and the line with the b on it goes to vacuum source off your intake mani

the solenoid has 3 lines. the order goes...O I B. o goes directly to wastegate, no tee no nuthin. b goes to intake vaccuum, no tees also. it says "i" goes to turbo but where and how? there is no nipple there(stock turbo). directions say "Connect to a source of pressurized air such as a turbocharger compressor housing (discharge side) or compressor outlet pipe (before the intercooler) using the 6mm hose. i have a nipple on the tube going into the manifold but thats AFTER the intercooler. going nucking futs!!!

after the intercooler should be fine idk y it wont work its pressurized air
and if it dont work put a nipple on the hot pipe

bst evc 5

after the intercooler should be fine idk y it wont work its pressurized air
and if it dont work put a nipple on the hot pipe

it says" this hose should be as short as possible and should not exceed 100cm(3ft. 4in.) nipple it is!! and umm, if n e of u guys have one of these evc'z, did u hook it up to ign wire(so when u turn the car on it comes on also) or on/off switch?

it sounds like all you need to do is mount it to the hot side of your ic piping?
why dont you just mount a connector to the piping?
