dont know if this will work but i got mad bored and decided to make a dubstepish quick little song called " bring da amber lance " keep in mind that i never used this program and that i only spent liek 15 minutes on it. :D cheers

loldamn dude all that in 15 minutes and i never used this program... i can get way more tech with it but then it wont take 15 minutes lol next time..... its actually pretty fun
 
i normally use real instruments like Djembe, guitar, bass , drums, etc... but for that im using FL studios, never had any experience with this.

I thought you were implying that you normally use some other program. Synths are real instruments.
 
nah synths are exactly what they are... synthesizers... synthetic audio ( digital ) by real i meant any analog type instrument... i mean i can easily get the same exact effect by recording my bass sending it to protools and then apply a 3xosc to get the same wobble bass sound. which would be easier to me than a synth program

and by 3xosc i mean a 3 "channel" osculator

You can't even argue that its not. Just b/c the sound is generated by waveforms and the word syth implies synthetic in your mind doesn't mean its not an instrument. at all. that's just ridiculous.

im not saying that it not, all im saying is that by " real" i really meant to say was analog. keyboards are instruments and they are synths too. so there is no argument here
 
lol you straight up said they're not real instruments. But with your argument i could pose a similar one about drums b/c they don't generate tones. Or sting vs wind instruments or wood vs brass. I don't see a need to distinguish a synth from any other instruments in any way.

okay drums do generate tones... and other than the fact the the noise coming out of a synth is digital and produced by a chip, yes is a form of an instrument.

terry bozio tunes his drums both chromatic and diotonic. which means he is creating different notes... meaning tones are produced
