Caliper Grinding

Yeah, so I need to grind down my front brake calipers a little to fit some wheels.

I was just wondering if anybody has done anything like this before, because I dont even know what kind of tool I should use to grind it down.

Thanks in advance :bigthumbu

id say just cop some small spacers

I would, but then I'd probably have to get camber plates and run some neg. camber to make it fit, so I figure grinding down the caliper a little bit would be the easiest route.

Did someone say roll fenders lol? If anything you always get some other wheels with better brake clearing and run the others on the rear. I hope you get it worked out :D .

Is it something like this? I never used anything like this before thats why I'm asking.

lol thats fine. It dosent matter what grit would use. A rougher grit will get the job done faster, but leave more visual grinding marks, a finer grit will take longer but have a smoother finish. I would start with a hard aluminum or steel grinding wheel then switch to 80 or 120 to finish if the calipers are being painted. W\e its not a big deal how you get the letters off, just get them off.

he anit talking letters he's talking something else i dont know what he wants to grind. i would get spacers or something else but hey whatever.

Ok, thanks for the help, my friend has a grinder like that so I'm going to try and see what I can do with it.
