cam swap ???

i have have a ka24de s13 and i want to put my jim wolf cams in out of my old motor but idk what do do about shimming them can i take all them shims off the valves on the old head and put them in the new head and it would work or what is the proper way to do this

well in theory you shouldnt have to shim anything because the shimming process is done at tdc with the valves closed. i would just throw one in and measure the clearance on one valve. if its off then just stick the old cam back in until you can get your hands on some shims. if its within specs measure a couple more to be safe and then just pop them cams in
