well facotry camber is not adjustable in the front you would need either eccentric camber bolts or my advice is jsut get you some camber plates and call it a day...the rear camber is adjustable fromt he factory..however if you have super wide wheels like me then your gonna wanna get your hands on a set or adjustable upper control arms and toe rods to complete the alignment process properly and to keep your tires around for a much longer time..hehe

Thanks! I have 265/35 18 in back but I am planning to go 275's next time around. I am not too slamed in the back either. About a little less than an inch drop from factory in the back. In the front I am practically sitting on the wheel 235/40 18. What are adjustable camber plates and eccentric camber bolts? I have also seen someone go a cheap way once and he drilled alongated wholes in the struts where they bolt to the car. What about that?

Here is what I've seen on ebay.........

to be honest making the strut mounting holes elongated is a dangerous proposition...it compromises the strength of the area ..IMO not a good idea...camber plates are a much better option and far more adjustable...htey replace your factory bearing plates at the top of your strut...just look at the top of your strut where it comes thru the top of your strut tower...the black thing with three bolts holding in the car and one int he middle...thats what you would wanna replace with camber plates.

those pics from ebay, the rear camber kit pic is the rear upper control arm...you would still wanna get some rear toe rods to complete the job....and the front camber bolt kit which i believe is eccentric bolts is to me a bandaid....if ya wanna do it right get you some camber plates.

Now I know exactly what you are talking about. How much do the plates usually go for?

bro get a camber kit, they are like 15 bucks for the bolt with the little tab on it. thats for the front. for the rear get some upper control arms and youre set. cambers plates i dunno theyre expensive. negative camber will make your car handle better, going into turns. also drifting, it helps from keeping the front from sliding too much.

the prob with the eccentric camber bolts is that they arent designed for drift cars... case in point...you go throwing your car around multiple corners they might be fine they might not...ive seen my fair share fo cars who owners have put them on and things well just didnt pan out for them...all im sayin is the camber plates are designed for abuse and those camber bolts arent..

What about my actual specs right now. How bad would it be to just stay this way as the guy from Alignment factory said to? I guess I should have pics to give ya a better idea....

But thats exactly my point, I am not drifting this car at all. Right now, it is just my daily driving. So then the bolts for me can be OK right?.

yeah as long as you dont have any immediate plans of floggin the thing around corners then the bolts can do the job for now...

What do you think about what s14 - NEO says about the whole issue. Sounds like he has good points! Are the control arms hard to install?

Yeah, its a for now thing. Till I buy my house. After that, I'll probably come back to you all to get in more real serious business with the Zenki....

Where can I get a set of bolts for 15 - 20 bucks as you said locally?

Does anyone know what are factory specs for toe and camber for a Zenki? just wondering? Inout will be greatly appreciated

I finally got these front camber bolts. Does anyone have any input on how to install them? The instructions on the box are not too clear. They are Eibach by the way.

factory front camber is 1\2 degree negative. i think its the same with the rear too.

How many bolts did you get? 2 or 4 in total? Replace the front bolts where the shock attaches to the spindle. Once installed and bolts are loose rotate the eccentric which will reposition the camber angle.

If you are taking this to get aligned, let the mechanic at the alignment shop install the camber bolts while its on the alignment rack.

Useful stuff! Thanx! I'll let the alignment guy take care of it then.

I bought two bolts. That's all I needed right?
