heyy so i try to turn on my car this morning to go to school and it makes a noise like its about to start sparking and then it just buzzes and quits out. I have electricity and can turn on air conditioning, lights, windows, and everything else. THis happened for the first time this morning and i bump started it to get to school and now i have to bump start it again to get home. I have never had a problem like this with my car and i looked at the obvious stuff like the battery and seing if it has charge and making sure the wires are hooked up but the car starts to make the noise like its about to turn on but not enough to cough and i thought maybe its just not charged enough so after i drove to school, right after i turned off the car, i tried to turn it on again and it did that same exact thing. If anyone knows what i could check let me know. I don't have many tools but idk if this is a serious problem or not.

What motor?
And it sounds like the starter solenoid went out on you

i was going to say starter may have died. if the batteries have good charge and everything else and it runs fine... then its the starter most likely.

Fuck the car. Leave it there. Go back inside the school and don't come back until you know how to properly compose a sentence.

Did you check the battery? Just because it has voltage doesn't mean it's good. Try testing the battery voltage two or three hours after it's been sitting, if the voltage is below 12volts, suspect the battery. Or you can just go to autozone and have it tested. Test the alternator output next, and then the starter. The weather just went from hot, to cold as shit, and now it's getting warmer, if your battery is old, the temperature changes could actually be making it worse.

the starter is in good condition though. i got a new one installed less than a year ago. Also it started up really quickly every time i turned the key up until this morning. It never showed any signs of going bad beforehand.

yeah i was actually thinking the temperature may have alot to do with it.

If you don't remember when is the last time you got your battery, it might already be too long ago. Check if it has a date on it, if it's a couple years old, just get it checked out before you spend double the value of the battery on another starter, and then end up still having to buy a battery.

Ok i didnt think it was the battery because of how quickly it went out but apparently it was just the battery. unless i take it for a drive and it doesnt start later on then thats all it was. thanks.
