Chelsea Denofa completed building a brand new Formula D chassis in just 3 weeks time, with the help of some very key sponsors. Although he will be driving the Bergenholtz RX8 in Seattle, he will still have his new competition BMW in the pits that he will use for demos and XDC events. Before they left, Denofa and his team were tuning at well-known BMW tuner Active Autowerke until the wee hours of the morning before they left for Seattle. Active Autowerke seems to be his new engine partner after splitting with Technica Motorsports earlier this month. It looks like Denofa went with a mostly-gold paint scheme on this chassis, instead of the black-on-gold scheme he had on his now-wrecked E36. Also, the headlights on his new car look a bit more like E46 headlights than E36 headlights. Conversion? new chassis? we’ll have to wait and see.
