Chris Forsberg Top Qualifier Run - Smashing the Wall!
On his second qualifying run Chris Forsberg unleased fury upon the Streets of Long Beach track resulting in a 93.1 run. Coming out of turn 9 he swung wide and smashed the rear end of his car against the wall but never faltered off line. He stayed in the gas through the turn and his rear bumper even managed to stay on the car. Watch the whole sequence in slow motion.

WOW! that is pretty awesome but.... if he didn't have an amazingly flexible uber $ kit, things would have been different i think.
 
its pretty sick, but like you guys said, it shoulda fallen off, and i dont really care for the kit he has this year, i liked the origin kit from last year, but everyone to there own i guess.
 
it wouldnt have 'just fallen off' it would have given resistance and smashed.... and changed his line/angle making his 'brush' more of a HIT and woulda killed his score.
 
yup yup wish i had an uber amount of money to get a kit that could take hits like that, most kits would have been done in that situation
