hey guys, i just got my car back from nissan. i had droped it off because i was having problems with the pedal not returning to its home position, and having no back pressure(like when releasing the pressure pushing back on my foot) but they found that the master cyl. had failed internally.......

buttt i was crusin on home on the turn pike and hadnt touched the clutch sense i got on, go to shift into 5(down shift) to pass and the back pressure was there but it was "soft" an then it stuck for a second but returned, pushed it again to go into 6th and the pressure was back like it had to build up?.?.? kinda weird, seems to only happen when i stay in gear and cruse for about 10 15 min. Does anyone here maybe know what else could be contributing to the problem?

Master cyl. was replaced and bled by nissan(cover by warranty)

Anyway, there may still be air in the lines. The M.Cylinder can sometimes still have air in them if not properly bled. Bleed the lines again, if problems persists, suspect the slave cylinder. Also, the softer pedal feel could be from the new M.Cylider...

i thought it might have been that but if i shift a couple of times like from 5th back to 6th or vice versa, it has the same stiff feel as it normally did. ill see if it persist and if so ill have the lines re-bleed and see what happens from there.
