ok so i have a spec stage 2 kit my transmission blew and when i pulled the transmission the clutch springs came out.i was wondering how stock clutches are for drifting. no negative comments. i also have a lightened flywheel.

More likely your stock clutch won't hold as long as an aftermarket setup.
But, what you should be worrying about is if the stock clutch is going to hold the power your putting down. You don't want the clutch slipping on you.

spec... letting people down since forever.

power is 100% an issue so yea, answer that then get an exedy oem replacement at the least, or a stage 2 if you prefer.

it will work but wear out faster then u need to replace it anyways. if u pay the extra for the stage 1 or 2 then itll work better, last longer, and be worth it in the end.

ok but becasue i have a spec kit is there anyway i can just put a stock disk in with all my spec stuff like presure plate and flywheel.

???????????????????????????????????

you can use all the spec stuff with a stock clutch but the stock clutch life span wont be long. i would recommend you sending the stock clutch to get re-pucked to something better than stock. I remember back in the day broward clutch did it but that was awhile ago. if not someone else local should be able to do it.
