hey everyone Ricky cash here

just ecu checked my car broke nig style. and the car was throwing a code of 34 and 14

please let me know what codes those are thanks to everyone for your help in advance

knock sensor and speed sensor is off just found out and for anyone else who may need this reference here is a site i used

how do i fix the knock sensor issue

and also how do i get a vacuum diagram of the 240sx system, i need to drain mine it has brake fluid in it

When you replace the knock sensor.

You will need a extension 12" and a 12mm socket and a 10mm. Remove fuel line brace on top of intake manifold (10mm) and then stick the (extension and 12mm socket) through the intake runners and unscrew the (12mm bolt). Then you can unplug it up front by the timing cover. When you install your new one. Use a coat hanger folded in half and tape it to the knock sensor. That way you can feed it through the intake manifold. Then use your (extension and 12mm) again to tighten it back up. It's good if you have a friend to guide it through the runners to the correct position while you tighten it. Hope that helps
 
thanks for the info, however i will look to see if its just teh wires that maybe be burned out or something, i was reading this on zilvia and heard its a common problem, rather replace 5 dollars worth or wire than a 60 dollar knock sensor that might not have anything wrong with it right?

i call it the 240 bible. everythin ull ever need to know is there. so do yourself a favor and download it.

and if ur cool like me ,... lol print it and put it in a huge vinder! :cool:
 
k4rr i used your method, its was hard but it worked, no other way to do it esp. when everything was not taken apart, feel me thanks +1 for you, oh wait this aint zilvia
