coil pack ground with spark ?

thet ground cable what you see in the picture, it has sparks! and kicks hard .. keyssr can say that too, lol , i already check for striped , cutted wires that can be touching the ground..but everything seems to be fine!
i read somewhere else that that ground have spark ? and still need to be on the firewall ?
Note : the car still turns on right up , and runs fine.

im the same way.. hmmm , power cable ? i dont think so..if so..where my ground ? also the car runs good. if is power..car should run like crap.. i think ?
i put that cable in my firewall befor and my tail lights fuse when bad 3 times. took that cable off from there and now lights are fine

no one of u have the same black wire comming from the coils plug ,and have it connected to the firewall in the back of the head ?

isnt this the wire thats supposed to loop back into the harness that you connect a timing light to for cyl 1 spark signal? if so, then the other end of that wire should be down in the harness wrap somewhere.

nice...i for got bout that 1

idk if its ground but it sparks like its coming from a coil

that looped wire that im talking about that gives you signal for cylinder 1 spark will kick just as hard as any of the coils. i guarantee you there is another bare wire in the harness within a foot or so that this wire connects to.

Why don't you take a multimeter to it. Then you. An see where its connected to in the ecu then from there fix the wire.

I guarantee that wire doesn't kick as hard as AFTER THE COIL.
What You got hit with was just 12v battle power.

that's the cable..same as shown in the picture

12v wont shock u at all, u never tuched a car battery thats 12v
and ill give u a $100 if u put that wire to your balls and have him start the car and if u dont get shocked ill give u $100

lol, ey i just got a picture when i got the car. took the valve cover out..and this is how it was connected before replacing the engine! so im gonna have to take it apart and do it again..

the wire that is connected to the walls is the one that is kicking asss,

bought used coil packs harness., and the Suposed to be ground .. the black short wire coming out from the coils.. keeps on sending sparks.. is that normal ??

no, and do not hook a multimeter up to it if it has enough strength to shock you. you will let all the smoke out of you meter.lol you should have the single black looped wire for you timing light hookup and a single black wire for a ground. tape all the wrapping off you coil pack harness and check that you have the looped wire tied in with cyl one coilpack ground. all of the grounds are tied together and ground on the firewall.
