connecting an amp

what wire on the head unit does the remote line to the amp connect to?? and whats a good ground on a s13??
 
where should i run the ground??i dont know man im pissed..theres power but i dont know if its the ground or the remote wire that wont turn on the damn amp

w/o a remote wire it wont work and just ground it to anywhere to the car it self i used a bolt in my truck and just put a eye on the wire and tightened it down
do you know if the amp works forsure it could just be bad

edited:: are u talking about the ground for the amp? run it to anything man were your shocks are take one nut off and put it there
 
the remote wire should be blue, that will come straight off your headunit. and the ground, screw that shit in to any point on your chassis
 
i used my spare tire bolt thing for ground and just take a piece of wire and connect the remote to the positive terminal on the amp to test the amp after its grounded like he said^^^ it wont turn on at all w/o ground and running to a ign wire is cool and all but i hooked mine up to a constant and a switch so when the po po see's me i hit the switch and no more bass them tickets are expensive and no fun the law is 25 feet
 
turn the car off, on the amp connect a wire from the positive to the remote, if it turns on than the remote is hooked up wrong, if it does int turn on then u got a bad ground
 
Where ever you ground it too make sure, there isnt paint on there. Scrap some off where the ground is going to then connect it or screw it on.
