Countyline Test Drift Day

We'll see, I probably would do it as a sponsorship deal. Since I have a lot of the stuff needed for the 20v swap already.

PS So yeah Erick you have an e-mail or you want your runs posted up somewhere :) ?

So I'm in a dilema until I solve that I'll do the best I can with what I got. . .never lift! lol

PS E-mail sent, hopefully it works for ya :)

Word, just remember: a full run with no rear traction > mad angle, straighten out, mad angle next turn.

Sacrifice what you must, but carry them drifts continously :bigthumbu

Damn you people and your bad influences on me now lol. Yeah I had to sacrifice my beloved angle to connect Countyline(except the last 2 turns when we came back I need more road after the 180 to gain momentum for that), with more power I can keep more angle.

I hear ya. Anyone want to sponsor an 86 and add boost to it :D ? I do really love na though, itbs open at WOT, 9k+ redline, my new exhaust, I know how to build good power in na. . .oh man what to do? lol

PS Oh yeah Erick I got your earlier run's raw footage. You have an e-mail or you want it loaded on something(youtube, photobucket, etc)?

Think Ken Maeda dude 300hp AE86 outruns Nomukens skyline dude...... actually out runs everything

BOOOOOOST

He was 20v turbo, so I'll still have to deal with all the 20v swap stuff. His angle was the best I've ever seen. I really love na and sticking to Toyota engines(I'm kinda purist I guess) but after seeing John Rusakoff's full build up on putting an S2k motor in an 86, I dont know lol. It was pretty much stock and 223whp in a light 86, now add some itbs to that and other things and well. . . .

Well if you decide to go with a bigger N/A Toyota motor, it better be a 3S-GE. Your best option would be the 3rd gen 3S-GE. Just letting you know.

Yeah I know, I'll probably end up with a 20v and build it to like 170whp, I would like a Haltech though :D .

Yea I was going to mention that. What car did it come in the USA? I know it came in the Altezzas. 16V.

Errr. My opinion is N/A 4AG. 16v or 20v. Throttle response is amazing, its a lot of fun, and still can pull of some serious stuff. Anyway, boost takes away the character a built N/A 4AG has. I dunno man, just my opinion. If you need a little more power, do mild engine mods. Like my car has intake, header, test pipe, 0.5 mm head gasket. Those little things have made my car powerful enough for my taste, at least for now.

And just a thought, I'd rather get a cage so you can do tandems than build more power. Also, look for more ways to lower the weight of the car (I know your car is already lighter than mine), because not only will your power to weight ratio go up, but you can turn and stop faster, something HP can't do.

...170 whp....= 9999999999999999999$ 4ag...20v or 16v or 7a bottom....still = 999999999999$

Indeed.

Although 20V 1.8L 7A-GE sounds good. :bigthumbu

Yeah pretty much lol. I just think if Im going to add power I might as well get a 20v and have nice power out of the box and slowly build it up. I'll deal with my engine as it is for now. What I need like everyone is more $$. You know the plan about the lighter weight stuff already.

Maybe for some ;) . . .thats all I'll say and I know exactly what I need for that power. Its not that bad really, you do need a good standalone to tune with I will say that much.
