from watching vids i think there was a better way but i wasnt there so maybe not.

Well my main concern when we discused the track lay out was to be beginer friendly. I started this with the goal of helping the newbie and intermediate drifters and giving them a desent safe practice spot. I'm not planing to have nopi qualifiers or anything like that. People have told me that ovals are good for beginers. But i know the oval scared the crap outta me. So The way we have it set up you get top 2nd gear in the 1st turn and learn how to transition, if you wanna manji down the strait go for it. But just have fun dont worry about points not everybody wants to go pro some of us just wanna have a good time. So is there a better way maybe, but a safer way i doubt it. Hopefully this answers any ?'s about the track layout. And we saw a big improvment in drivers that were there at the first event. This is a great starter course to help people learn basic car control. Thanks for th advice and hopfully I will be able to make up to Desoto,

I would have found a better way of getting into the first corner, I think I would have accelerated hard in first while maintaining traction then shifted hard to second to break the tires loose(used it to initiate towards the corner) and balance the angle with my foot to the floor until I got to the first apex, a balance act driving towards the apex. Its really not as simple as it seems.

you all are misunderstanding i think.
first, its the course setup looks fun and really good for beginner. i do not agree that ovals are good for beginners tho. i'm in no way dissing the course setup NOR the drivers runs. i was simply saying that when "EntrySpeed" said impressive entry, I was saying it was cool, but that KIND of entry isnt what you want to 'shoot' for. I don't expect anyone to be doing the best entry, hell, i prolly can't even do it super great.

the main thing ive been seeing when instructing newer drivers and some more seasoned is BAD habits. not that manji entry is bad, but just dont think that the earlier your ass is out the better it is for 'competition' style events. practice do what you want, have a ball.

MY bigger note was when i said it hurts drivers because i have seen more spinouts before they even GET to the FIRST turn. not only that, but as we see from videos, everyone spins here and there and PUROPSELY throwing the car HEAD ON at the only wall when its not really part of the course, is a way to make a small mistake take your car away from you.

Entries are always going to be the hardest part of a track to 'nail' because thats where it is ALL based on judgement and not adjustments.

As I said before, I'm not trying to change anyone or dis anyone, just trying to put out knowledge that i've gained over 40 events.

I was trying to clutch kick that entry with just a small fient and hahah ummm Massive understeer, idk maybe with more power it would have worked. So I ended up useing the ebrake mostly
