I was at countyline a week or 2 ago and the short guy whatshisface was talking about June 1st for the next Countyline drift event.

This was on a friday night and he announced it to the crowd after trying to sell his motorcycle for 100$.. you all seen that shit brown cycle.. well anyways I am just curuious if anyone else heard the same?

gotta ask tim (hachi) he runs the events i hope its not the first or i might not make it

How about someone lets him slide and not have to worry about running the event for his birthday? :D

^ We drove much farther, paid much more to enter, and got the same amount of runs in the past.

For what it is, Countyline is a bargain. Plus, you get most of your runs late in the afternoon once its a single line (no run groups)

i wouldn't say a bargain... look at desoto 10 for car registration and 10 per person... and you run all night

not 50 for car and driver ( 55 if paying through paypal which is the advisable since the spots like to sell out ) and 15 per person + 10 for ride along..... I smell rape

Run the gas costs and tell me what ends up being cheaper per run.

I like Desoto, and I want to attend events there, but for beginners, Countyline seems to be a better and safer track as well.

I'm not saying things should remain as they are, but a lot of people take for granted what Countyline means. There was a point in time that the closest event to us was Ocala, and we drove 5 hours, paid $100, and got no more than 10 runs.

As it sits, Countyline is still a great deal. If my car was also to break down, I much rather it happen at Countyline than somewhere 10x farther.

im not bashing on countyline i love that track, all i was trying to say is that its a drift practice and there shouldn't be stunters there is we are paying that price... how much to those dude pay to run? i mean they do take up some of our time, time= money

If someone invites you to do a drift demo at their driving event, you would most likely not pay. Is it fair to the other drivers?

The owner is trying to bring more spectators in. More spectators = more money in his pocket, which makes him happier and willing to host more events in the future. And that's the most important part.

Now if the crowd reaction isnt great to the stunt bikes, then he'll see there's no reason to bring them in, and we'll continue with more drifting.

i dont know man, last countyline i got 16 runs.... thats good enought for 50 bucks... go drive up to desoto, and due to you are such an uber badass drifter try not to put your car into the wall... I hate whinning... it bothers the living crap out of me, you dont know whats to f**king spend $500 on a trip to ocala to maybe get 10 runs, Thats commitment like Erick was saying we have been commited to this, guys like tony mac even went to GA looking for an event, now because you get 10 runs on a clean fun track (maybe the funnest track in FL) and paid 50 bucks you are going to go ahead and complain... grow up man. I dont mind the damn bikes, the owners wants them there, he is giving them a chance just like he is giving us a chance. Concentrate less on the whinning and start improving your skills.
