So my dash light went off on my s13 hatch. And after, i noticed that the rear lights went off too. Now i tried checking the fuses and i saw the one for the tail lights was burned. I put a brand new fuse(40) and it burned it right away but it worked for a couple of minutes. Both the dash light and tail light worked but very dim. After that, the fuse burned and no more lights. Any advice?

There is a short. Use a short finder and find it and repair.

Your prolly better off paying a mechanic. Its generally worth about $75 in time to test. And most times are in the taillight area.

I'm gonna save you a headache as this is a veeeeeery common problem in s13's and you could have googled it and found the answer. But I'm a nice guy, so I'll tell here.
Your main chassis harness runs through your driver side fender. Something is rubbing against it causing it to short out.
Remove fender, fix chewed up wire, re loom, tuck harness. Done.
