troo, you guys were killing it! wish i had the balls/exp to hit it that hard!

the little bit of time i spent on the bank of OSW was pretty smooth... cool down laps at desoto i was bumping my helmet on the roof...
 
^^ yea if you are right up on the wall, its smooth- cause you are out of the racing groove for saturday night guys.

OSW bank is the same dimensions/angle according to the owner at desoto. just surface difference/quality.
 
im kinda bummed that there hasnt been any new and up coming drivers lately, ben has been killin it and his car is in my shop right now getting a contraption of a cage welded in. there also a guy from i think gainsville that goes nuts in a seemingly stock 240. what happened to progression?????????????

you talking about that red hatch? if so, the guys name is alex... and he is a pretty good driver... stock KA with a 2 way

hopfully ill drive. cars falling apart and begging me to put sweet parts on it. hopefully there will be a good turn out and people get pummmmped on drive and try new stuff and learn a bunch.
 
i'm aiming for a bit of that bank.... the one time at OSW i was getting the hang of it, and then they set up cones and shit, which kinda fucked me up cause i was sliding with a 256K mile KA and i sucked.... this time around, i got a little confidence, so i'm gonna try it out...
 
I might come up depends on whether or not I have the money to rent a trailer I'm not limping my car there. And I have to but the two other wheels for my car plus front pads and a new battery its looking pretty shitty as of right now

One question is this event open to anyone interested in learning how to drift or do you have to have some experience under your belt?
 
learners welcome!!! most of the exp'd guys are cool and will give you tips, and pointers... and no one laughes and the n00bs... at least to thier face... i was n00b the last time i went and had a shit ton of fun...
