Story goes as following.

2003 - Bought JVC Camcorder and 4 year warranty Plan.

with in a year the Camera breaks Due to a Condensation Error. Bring it in to get fixed. Comes back 3 Weeks later Repaired.

5 months later and maybe only used 5 times so far camera fails for a condensation error again.
3 weeks later comes back fixed.

1 year later camera breaks again for condensation error. Bring it in and complain and they say they will fix it right this time. Get it back in 3 weeks works good.

4 months later broke again for the same thing. This Time I complain that I want a replacement camera. They say no it has to break again before they will consider it.

6 months later Camera Fails again. Now i'm angry bring it in and they refuse to lemon it. They say they promise to fix it right this time no worries all will be well. 3 weeks later camera works fine.


Today I find the camera and its broke again. I bring it in to best buy and they say sorry your Service plan has expired.

Well 2 things wrong with this.

A.) Under the original service plan the camera was never really fixed. It was only temporarily fixed. And you know this when it breaks for the same issue 5 times.

b. ) The camera was in their posession to be fixed for a total of 7 weeks. In my opinion thats time that should be added to my service plan extending it for the time they had it in repair and me not using.

They basically told me they would not help me and hung up the phone on me.

How can a company this large treat a customer, a teacher, and an overall good citizen with such neglect.

They stole my money, and never fulfilled their service plan by fully fixing the problem.

FUCK BEST BUY.

REPOST THIS EVERYONE. THEY DON'T DESERVE OUR HARD EARNED MONEY ANY MORE.

warranty plans are gay...go in steaming and talk to the manager...and if he doesn't, take the time and go see the DM or RM...if all else fails...throw the camera at somebody hard. When I worked at sears, the same shit would happen to people and it would piss me off, and I would do everything I could to help them, even if I had to lie. But apparently, everyone at best buy are assholes...
 
they BB pretty muched fucked over my girlfriends mom on her computer, and even though she had an extended warrany, within a year her shit busted due to a hardware failure and they would not replace it and she was stuck with a busted box

They had to remove me from the store. I through my camera at the wall. then started walking around telling all the customers not to shop their any more cause everything is shit and breaks and then they steal your money.

Then i backed my car up to the doors and had a little fun with some news tires.
 
LMFAO!!!!!! but not everyone that works there is a dick! cuz i work there. service plans are gay! the ones for computers are ok but some of the ppl who work geek squad suck! always try to get the replacement plans!
 
wow........seems like you got some revenge, but id still try and talk to the RM or DM......win win situation, throw a fit in the store, fill their front doors with the smell or fresh rubber, AND a replacement camera.lol
 
go over there heads and talk to a dm threaten to sue them do whatever you have to do make sure you have all your receipts, i hate having to deal with bullshyt, its such a pain in the a**. especially incompetence
 
If you complain they won't do that much and if they want to be real dickheads they will tell you live...Also you can call there headquarters and complain there they will also give you the DM number..Good luck man remember to act calm and dont give them attiude i know that sometimes you get super pissed and just start screaming cause you dont know what else to do.. happen to me alot of time with fuck ass customers.. good luck again..
 
I tried calling everyone. They all say the same thing. Not their problem. I can extend my service plan If I would like but that costs extra. Of course.

At this point im notifying all news channels in the area as well as the better business bureau.

And i'm gonna do my best to stop people from shopping there so they don't have to deal with this shit in the future.
 
retail for you CCIty isnt any better but as a manager there act mad but calm and usually get what you want then call corporate and they 99% of the time force the store to give you what you want
