doing 90 in a 55

ok so tonight i was riding back from a buddys house and this supra flys next to me and i spool up real quick to like 60-65 and the supra kept going till like 115- 130. i keep cruising at 60-65 and this cop flys up behind me and pulls me over. he said i was doing 90 and the supra was doing 95. and called my parents and pretty much f*cked me. wrote me a 380 dollar ticket and a court date. my radar detecter never went off or anything so how can he clock me? anyone know of any lawyers in FL that deal with stuff like this?

there are 1million and 1 traffic lawyers...just pick one. i have had much success in the past with them:)
 
I work for the police department and the best way to get out of that ticket if its not criminal then go to traffic school. If it is criminal then I say you take it to court yourself and fight it that way chances are if it was issued by a busy city PD then he will not show up but if it was some small department then he will go because thats 3 hours minimum overtime and if he didnt radar you since you said you only were going 65 then he was pacing you and has no way of proving the speed. Just some possibilities. Lawyers cost money and if the officer doesnt show up the case is usually dismissed and no court fees or lawyer fees are paid.

Pace Clocking doesn't involve RADAR. The ticket SHOULD say what he used to clock your speed.
 
sorry to hear that man, i just hate stupid ass cops that think that because they have a lil badge they can boss everyone around, sometimes i feel like going Halo on them. lol. Good luck homie.
 
Going halo on cops is exactly what's making us go harder on people...I work for the police department dude and the way officers have been getting murdered on the job dude makes you not trust anyone anymore these days so if they come off as dicks remember that they are human beings too man and we are just trying to bring home a paycheck for their family or in my case my hobby...lol

all it says is M/R and F/C.. i was wondering... can he clock two people at once if there near each other and get two different speeds?

and its not a criminal its just a regular one with a court date ,april 14th

i would think if you didnt go over 65 and you are sure of it
he most likely clocked the supra and thought it was you that was doing the speed he clocked

lol, i know man, i didnt want it to sound like i was gonna murder the next cop that pulls me over, but its just that their are soo many of them out there that just like to take advantage of people.

i would take it to court and tell them exactly what happened
i would rather get a ticket for doing 10 over than for 35 over
and theres a pretty good chance you will get off with no points and no fee..
i got completely out of a ticket for 21 over just because the cop forgot to fill like 2 spots out on the ticket

You can only clock one vehicle at a time you have to point the gun at the target and follow the car.
 
Its all up to who you want to get chances are if he was going faster he didnt want to try and get him because there is more of a possibility of getting in pursuit and the laws on pursuits in florida are so strict you can only chase if its for a 3rd degree felony or higher......

If you want you may use that knowledge to your advantage;)
 
im deffinitally going to use that.. this ticket says 316 after everything but im still not sure what M/R and F/C means on the "other comments" part of the ticket
 
just something the officer writes on his own 316 would be the state statue if you have the exact code I could tell you what he wrote you up for it should be 316._ _ _.

note hollywood pd and bso do chase so if your ever in their jurisdiction dont run

just take to the traffic clinic exit 103 by i95 they are really good i got a ticket in palmeto i was going 120 miles but it was 283 buks not that much. good luck my record is clean thanks to them
