doing 90 in a 55

dam that sux i hope everything turns out good for u. idk where i heard it but I THINK that if u do more than double the limit, You go to jail and ur car gets impounded, not to mention the hefty fine u have to pay. Is all that true or is it all BS?
 
Ticket lawyers ftw. They will get you out of that shit. As for all cops being douchebags...i used to say that because of alot of peoples experiences and alot of my own with police officers, but to tell you the truth theyre only douches if youre a douche (for the most part) I was clocked in at 100 in a 50. I told the officer this was a rarity for me (which it is) that i just lost maturity that night i just got new tires in the back and he let me go cuz' i didnt catch an attitude with him i was being respectful and keeping my cool. Theyre not all douchebags but alot of them are. Its there job

I AGREE IV BEEN PULLED OVER AT LEAST A 50 TIMES MOSTLY FOR SPEEDING SLIDING RACING OR BURNING TIRES. IV BEEN LET GO WITH WARNINGS FOR MOST OF THEM. JUST BE RESPECTFUL AND TELL THE TRUTH THEY DONT WANT HEAR YOUR BULSHIT!

As a law enforcement officer....I want to hear the truth. Even if the person is dead wrong dead to rights...9 times out of 10 I admire their honesty so much I let them off. However if your being honest for the sake of getting out of shit.....bye bye your fucked. In a job where all you do is read people......we tend to spot bullshit rather quickly....like instantly.
 
i was completely honest with him, if he catches me speeding and he tells me im doing 65 and i was doing 65 im gonna say yea you got me. IM not gonna say it to get out of it, im saying it because how am i gonna prove it otherwise so why lie. Arguing with an officer and getting mad is not gonna help the situation.
 
i didnt argue with him at all. he pulled me over and asked if i knew how fast i was going and i said at the most 70 but i wasnt realy looking at my mphs. i told him i understood i was speeding and he said i clocked you at 90. i asked him if he knew how fast the supra that flew by me was going at he said 95. after he wrote me my ticket and everything i told him i wasnt saying this to argue or anything but why didnt he go after the supra that was obviously was going 115+ considering the supra was a half mile ahead of me by the time the cop pulled me over he said because I was the first one he could get to.

316.193 I'll have to look it up and most likely he didnt want to run the chance of getting in a chase most supervisors will tell you to shut down if you start a pursuit. YOu were going slower therefore he didnt have to haul ass to catch up
 
What he means is, blue/red lights= go FAST! lol.

seriously though if if you end up paying it, so you don't get points on yo license goto Alex Hanna rather then Ticket Clinic. My friend went through ticket clinic for 5 tickets and TC never fixed them (which my friend payed for them to do).

He got pulled over thinking it was all good and he got his fuked by the cop. His license was suspended and he went to the poky. My friend had to go pick him up at 3am lol.

So lesson learned there.

lucky bastard!!! i got a criminal ticket because of "STREETRACING" according to the cop on 103rd hialeah at 5pm (its completly packed and full of cars..is rush hours no way i could race) they arrest me for Allegedly streetracing.. and they impound my car and I ended up paying between court fees, lawyer fees and all the other wonderful fees around 2,500 dollars or more... so YOU ARE LUCKY !! ..just take it to court...:bigthumbu:bigthumbu

PS: and for the copper in the forum... well I wish more cops were like you instead of the racist one i have encounter through my years of driving...some are educated (still dicks!) and others are pushy and are looking for a fight.

its exactly what it says. hes part of the DUI unit too. ill take a picture of it and post it tonight.
 
well it might be more numbers than 316.193 if so it falls under a different statute 316.1923 falls under the aggressive driving statute same with 316.1925
 
my case number is 05-2008-TR-009137-AXXX-XX if that counts for anything. maybe you can look it up DONUTDurifto? the county is brevard. thanks alot guys for the advice. hopefully one of two things happen... cop doesn't show up, or they figure out that the cop radar'd the wrong car and i realy was going 70 instead of 90 (considering i admitted to 70)
 
I cant look up other deparment's case number's the only thing I can do is run your license and check for any SUSPENSIONS if I check for warrants and you happen to have one then I'm under investigation.

As for the help don't sweat it brother just trying to help where I can
