Drift Night @ CFRC 9/4/09 Video

this makes me not want to go there. but i'm sure with the right drivers and angles it could seem more fun.

that is probably the most horrible video rendition I have seen of the event... No offense to the OP... It's like the guy with the camera only filmed the runs where people where trying to pop tires cause they where spent (other then dan/spermy)...

i wanna make it out to one of them events soon
it not far away
where can i get details about it ?

I had fun there and if I was in the area I would go to another one, the course was simple yet challenging in its own way. Plus there was alot of seat time and the pavement is easy on tires.

Well the camera operator, using my camera, was my boss's (miata driver) 13 year old son who was filming the 3 of us who drove there from Gainesville. He also happened to film a few other people, which I also put into this little clip. There weren't many great spots for him to film from, and I'd say he did a fine job of filming for someone in middle school. I wouldn't say I'm a great editor, but I have fun putting these videos together for the sake of helping to promote these events. Thank you for being so positive.

The track was super difficult for how small it was. It was nice to have a challenge. Dan and I got there really late so we only got like 4-5 runs, but neither of us were able to link the track. Definitely gonna go back and try to get that shit dialed in.

^yeah it sounded like you guys were tearing it up but I didnt get to watch since I was swapping a rad

i only got to see your first run. got yelled at by the track guy for being to close to the track, still like 15ft away.

Haha I plowed into those tires on my first run. It was sweet.

the older dude in the miata went from understeer city at the beginning of the night to "of shit he is linking it!"

I dont think anyone actually linked the whole course...

Im going to run the same course for 2 months in a row then switch it up after each skid pad (every two months starting in 2010) so everyone should be able to get used to it..

to the OP, anyone that is actually going to film/take pictures I will let out in the center behind the krails/tires to take pics/video.. Just come and ask me and ill let him go out..
