We received a user tip last night that the Drift Speed S15 was being listed for sale on Craigslist in the Los Angeles Auto section. After doing some homework we couldn’t really find out much about the sale of the vehicle outside of the Craigslist ad. The car is listed at $25,000 asking price. It talks about how the car was built by WiseSquare for the American D1GP series and SEMA. The car was also featured in Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift in the final scene of the movie. The car also was driven to a podium finish at the 2007 Formula D Lomng Beach event getting 2nd place while driven by Mitsuru Haraguchi. buy it and pat it out! lol. thats sad that they are selling it but i assume they are trying to fund a new car maybe.

the fact that its been in a movie means dick to me. i could care less. same car with or without a movie credit, doesnt make it faster, vinyls make cars faster.

LMFAO!!! I'm with you on a serious note though. It being in a movie is just more reason for people to wait to stop me and take pix inside it, while i'm late for work.

its not how you drive the car....its how you stand next to it jason...damn dude i though you knew this already!:rolleyes:
 
i guess with it being hard to actually get an imported car now adays its not that expensive...but since its considered a fully built race car doesnt that not make it street legal? making it a hassle for you to register it? on top of the fact thats its probably already hard to register it being a car that doesnt exist in america....
 
I'm gonna buy that car and use it for the Florida Series!
