I understand what u r telling me, but what i want to do is bring drifting 2 miami. As 4 going pro i never said that i'm doing this 2 become pro 4 now i find drifting fun thats why i do it but i don't want 2 have 2 drive 4 hours 2 orlando just 2 do it, or 9 hours 2 atlanta. Do u understand ? If u want 2 be part of this cool, but if not just keep on correcting everyones grammar don't take it the wrong way.

Yeah this suck, Its hard to drift in miami there is not enough places or tracks to drift. And its true what you say that you don't want to drive four hours just to go drifting, I feel the same way.

ok...I have an idea......Just an idea guys dont murder me now.......I really dont know who owns this website......but the person or people that own this website why dont they have weekly five dollar fee for using the forum.......Now the money heor she gets will keep it in a deposit box and show how much they have saved so far in a LED on this site count like other websites that shows you how many hits the page has gotten so instead of hits the money......between all of us within a month or so we can have enough money to throw the event.....It doesnt neccessarily has to be this exact way but you can use this idea and apply it to other methods.......Just a though peeps...

Hey guy's well I haven't updated on this subject in a while cuz I wasn't sure if people where really interested. Well the update as of last time I wrote, I spoke 2 Harri from Ter-Tec he told me that he has plan's 2 hold a parking lot event soon in miami. He also told me that he can get hialeah speed way opened 4 us, all I have 2 do is get alot of car's 2 preregister. As we r not holding pre-reg yet because of the event's in orlando so we don't think the timing is good 4 this right now. When we do hold the event we will need atleast 40car's 2 register seeing as the insurense ter-tec will provide is 4 40 car's please undersatnd this is a going 2 be a ongoing project that will be great 4 the sport of drifting in miami but it will take time. Thank You all for ur support and I will keep u all posted

sounds good....so wuts this im seeing about a parking lot event.... im so very interested!

Damn, i would like a Hialeah practice again, makes it easier on my car. If there is another Hialeah event later in the year, I might enter my first event there. I would love to take my car to Orlando to one of the upcoming events, but my motor doesn't seem reliable enough to go up, drift a good day's worth of tires, and come back home in time for dinner. So Hialeah, or any Miami event in that case, would make me a lot more comfortable to actually start practicing my drifting. And anyways, all the events I have gona too, I have only watched. Now I have to drive 4 hours to watch? It's alright. I'll stay. Bring drifting back to Miami, or anywhere near here. Orlando is too far to go watxh more circle track drifting. Ter-Tec, I am counting on you. lol.

ok, i know this is an oooollllddd thread, and that i'm kinda new as well, but has anyone thought of maybe opening a track down in dade? Maybe something with small events/practices every weekend? i know it needs insurance and the whole 9 yds to be a fully functioning track, but maybe if its researched right and done the same way, its possible. That way, we have a track thats alot closer, it's not a circle track, and very accesible...

X2 homie... OSW is too far for my taste!!!

i've actually done a bit of research already. The guys from US drift told me they could design a full track for about $1500...heres the email...

Chris and I would love to design you a track to use for drift or grip
or whatever you would want. We have several questions to ask to use in
the build up of the track. We need to know if you plan on having any
positive camber or reverse camber. Also, how wide were you thinking?
What type of surface were you thinking of going with, length of track,
depth of asphault, etc,. How much property are we going to have to
work with?

These are several questions that I will need the answer to design you
the perfect track. As you can see there is a lot to do and think
about. Chris and I have designed several tracks with amazing results!
And I'm sure we can design you something that will indeed be BadAss!!
We do charge a small fee to design you a track that will challenge
your participants and give them something to keep coming back.
Our standard rate to do something like this is usually in the
neighborhood of $2500-$5000. But seeing that we would like to see a
track down in FL we can do it for around $1500. But of course that
will also depend on the sized of the track and obsticles that we're
having to work around.
We incourage you to shop around to find a better price for someone
with the same or better reputation than us. We are the fastest growing
Drift Association in the country for a reason.. :)
I hope that this helps you and guides you in the right direction for
making your decision. Hopefully we can design you a drift track that
is "Built for Drifters by Drifters!"

Thanks for the email and I hope we can do business soon!
