What's up guy's well good news it's dyno party time at "SPEED SHOP", Yohan the owner will be holding this on saturday 2-18-06 from 9:00am-9:00pm 3 pulls for $40 will give you horsepower, torque, and air fuel readings if you guy's have any questions just call speed shop at 305-471-0220 ask for Yohan the address is 6447 nw 82 ave miami fl tell him Ricky sent you.

Speedshop Has The MOst Inaccurate Dyno Ever Created... My Friend Went TO One Of Those Dyno Days ANd He HAs AN '05 RSX With Intake And CatBack And They Said He Was Putting Down 230 To The Wheels On His First Run.... Second Run He Had 225 At The WHeel 3rd Pull 215 At The Wheel...... All Of These In The Same Gear

You Can If YOu'd Like BUt You Are Getting In Accurate Numbers....
 
Well I don't know about that when I got my car dynoed a few months ago it read 124whp on all 3 pulls and that was stock. That was pretty accurate you are the first person 2 complain about that dyno. That dyno is less then a year old I was there the day he recived it and it was brand new, look if you don't like his fine but please don't bad mouth it like that cause he is doing this 2 help us all. If you really think it suck's don't waist your money it's pretty simple. thank you 4 your input.
 
im not saying anything im just saying my experience .. if you had your dyno pullsc accurate well good job.. but to me they are inaccurate.... of all 3 times ive been there its been the same thing diffrent numbers same gear pull...

so think what you want... i just wont go there... :rolleyes:
 
different underhood temps and intake temps, especially on new cars, will create different numbers. Some cars have front wheel speed sensors, or other crap that messes with timing/fuel.
 
Thats the same thing Yohan told me I also called dynamic turbo and they said the same thing so as I said before officer alex it's a brand new dyno it works great now if you think diffrent fine but don't bad mouth it because you will make people not take advantage of a great chance to get spec's on there car's 4 a cheap price. There are alot of facters that will give you diffrent hp reading remember the colder temp will give you more power especialy in turbo car's you said your friend has a intake right well thats your answer. :confused:
 
Hook up a leaf blower to your cars intake and you'll get an instant 10HP increase!! But back on the subject, my buddy dyno'ed his car at Speed Shop and the numbers weren't exaggerated. Perhaps Officer Alex's friend had special VTAK sauce on his RSX. ;)
 
Well when Yohan spoke 2 me yesturday he told me he would be holding another one next month, which is great 4 me since i'm still installing my turbo and won't be ready till next saturday. Don't worry if u can't make it out 2 this one cuz I think he will hold one every month. I will get a date 4 the next one and I will post it 2morrow.
 
Damn it, regardless of how accurate Speed Shops dyno is $40 for 3 pulls isn't bad. The supra's never been dynoed befor and it would be great to know how much power its pulling. Why can't this be going on when the car is running.

Oh, and alex, not saying your bad mouthing but who says that their dyno runs aren't accurate? there are tons of factors that contribute to a dyno run. Dyno pulls dont exactly have to show the same numbers all three pulls. Thats why they give three pulls. And not all aftermarket bolt ons increase power as much as they say they do. It all depends. So quit talking about the reliability of the dyno. The three numbers you posted were actually pretty close to eachother and your supposed to go by the top pull. If you see a dyno give you exagerated differences in the dyno readings then that one might be faulty but your friends numbers were close to eachother on all three pulls. live with it, its a honda, its a cow! :D

Hey Ricky, Find out if this is going to be going on every month. The Supra doesn't start and it might not be fixed till mid or late march. I manage in the meen time so im just saving to throw some new parts on it and waiting for others to arrive. The new wiring harness alone might take 2 months to get here and a dyno graph would be great to have.

actually they are way off Project RB26DETT A Stock K20A2 The American RSX Makes 200 At The Flywheel.. There IS No Way in Hell That Intake And Exhaust will make 215 WHP the lowest Hp Pull..... And A Type-R K20A Makes 220 To The Flywheel.. So Yea.....
 
Let the sh!t go already please this topic has already been resolved if you get your car dynoed and it shows way more power then it should just tell the owner of speedshop. Alex as you can see no one really cares about waht happened 2 your friends run please stop thread jacking if you have a problem with his dyno take it up with Yohan in person but stop this crap already its old please stay on on topic if you are going good if not i'm sorry we will miss you out there. Again as i said before thank you for your input.
