Well subtract the reciprocating weight + the fact the come with 170 crank hp + they only run 8pnds stock + a front mount + larger exhaust + a good tune = roughly 250whp. Like i said before "Hoping somewhere around" 250whp. I havent realy found anyone that has roughly the same setup so im kinda doing it all myself. Also the engine has been completly rebuilt and checked for all proper clearances, bearing cleances, out of round, taper, etc. Thats cool 230whp n/a, just hope you got the money for gas with the near 13:1 compression i'd hope your running. Then again i dont know you :|. Thanks for the comments guy, i just wanted to post this to help some fellow 4ag owners out there to get a general idea on where they might be.

13:1 MAnny you never told me you are running high compression! Geez!

Take that math equation you just did and go ahead and - Drive train loss for me. Let me know where you find 250.

Not sure why this is hard to belive and remeber, "Hoping somewhere around" 250whp. When did i say i was going to 100% make 250whp?
What would you expect and have you had any exp with turbocharged 4ages?

i just found out m4nfred has a f20, thought he was trying to make an insane n/a 4age, hence the "13:1 compression". F20 thats cool if you got the money, i dont so i opted for the gze.

Actually I have worked with a few Turbo ans Super Charged 4As Thanks.

I know that is his motor I am just screwing with him. As far as money if you are BUILDING a 4A you must have some money. Regaurdless of the motor building a motor is $$$

Awesome. As far as BUILDING a 4A, I couldent agree more. It gets expensive as hell building a high hp n/a 4age or even a high hp 4agze. I just want this to be reliable and fun. New timing belt, oil seal, rear main, cam seal, valve seal, hot tanked head, hot tanked block, new oem bearings rod/main, maby 7mgte injectors, new oem piston rings, largeport manifold, new oem water pump, etc. And thats just the things i bought to make it reliable. Im debating on a TRD headgasket.

This wasant meant to become an "argument", you guys asked so i said "Hoping for somewhere around 250whp" there will prolly be a 20-30hp diffrence there, i have no idea. I dont know anyone that has the same setup so i have nothing to compare to just the DynoSim i've been using and common knowledge.

Sounds like a fun project. In high school we put the OEM Super charger kit on a High Compression 4A into a MR2. It was pretty freakin sick.

I think it may be possible, people say this but its very true "its all in the tuning." Just don't go cheap-o and do it right the 1st time. Do you plan to drift with this setup at all? The 250whp-ish will build clouds and clouds of smoke in a 86 :bigthumbu . Oh and the F20c swap really isn't that expensive anymore for what you get(very nice power and reliable). Are you on Club4AG at all?
 
i was talking shit, was just saying with a 25 its kinda hard to get up there...gt2540 imho would be stupid sick on a gze with a little bumped up compression maybe 9.5 -1....no lag....it would be seriousness

but for budget t25 is always nice.....your gze $ = my f20 price prolly...

still gze on boost run hard as hell...and anything over 180 whp is ridiculous
