WAITTTT!!! i already did my research, hold ur horses before trippin bout my post cus theres alot of them out there bout this, theyre too old so i cant ask questions on other threads...i did my research, i found plenty of answers, i found out that it could be the alternator...but my alternator is good, i actually found the problem and it was a fuse, i changed the fuse nd it only lasted like 15min. before burning again, changed it again and as soon as i start drivin my light goes on...why is my fuse just burning like that?? how do i fix it??...thank u.........i cant figure it out after checking everything!..anyone here around orlando willing to take a look at it for a 6pack? lol

he says that he found the fix for the ebrake light and it was a fuse. his question is how can he get the fuse to stop blowing.

it cant be the plug and i checked the fluid, cus when i found the fuse nd changed it the light went off...but it only lasted bout 15min before the fuse broke again nd the light went back on...would the plug or fluid burn the fuse?

there we go he got it lol...thats my problem, my fuse keeps blowing...

You might have a short in the wire for that plug and it keeps shorting hence blowing your fuse. So either run a new wire or get used to the light. I'm not sure you have enough technical skills to to do that with out messing something else up or making it where it will keep shorting out anyway. But u seem to have lots of problems lol

why cant he just put a higher # fuse if it supposed to have a 15 put a 30..^^^really i'd just unplug it..

because if there is a short in a car, id rather pop a fuse then burn the wire and possibly burn down the rest of the car as well.

dont mask the problem, fix it.

i tried the higher fuse nd still didnt do nething...i read somewhere that if u pop out the ash tray theres a wire there for ur ebrake nd that could be making the short so im gonna try that nd see what i can do...nd i dont mind the light at all, its just that it makes noise under my cluster too thats the annoying part

find out wants runs off that fuse and trace all the circuits for shorts or signs of something pulling excessive current

Unplug it. You can tell if your ebrake is up can't you lol

if i unplugg it the light will go away but the annoying buzzing sound might stay lol

Would low break fluid cause the fuse to blow?...idk how it could be a short since it just started happening recently nd happend outta nowhere, its not like i was taking hard turns for shit to move around or nething and i wasnt doin nething to the car so no wires were touched or messed with and my ebrake doesnt work so i dont use it so there cant be any stuck switches...where can i take it to get it checkd out cus i cant find the solution to this very frustratin and annoyin problem

Don't quote me on this but if u unplug the sensor it should take away the light and the sound. If there is no switch neither should come on. Also u can remove the plug to sound box ish thing. Look up the location and color etc I can't remember exactly mine was already unplugged when I got the hatch but actually plugged it back in for the hell of it.

And yes low brake fluid will cause the light to come on as well as low master cyl I think.

Its not worth it to take it to a mechanic to look at it. See if anyone on this forum that's local will take a look at it for a 6 pack or something. Lol

FML!...i unplugged the sensor, changed the fuse, plugged it back it and it was gone!,no light i revved the car over 3rpms, still no light!, i take it for a test drive,i put it in gear i take off and there goes the light ON again! =(...i get back to my driveway unplugg the sensor again, changed the fuse AGAIN, left the sensor unplugged, turn the car on and no light, i take off again nd still not light, im driving, getting over 3rpms still no light, i thought i had fixed it, when outta nowhere the light goes back on wtf...but low brake fluid wouldnt cause the fuse to blow right?..i checked it and its a lil under max...WHAT DO I DO?! if theres no sensor there shouldnt be no light or atleast no sound, if it was a short it would blow the fuse as soon as i start the car not after driving for 5min around my neighborhood...like THABEAST said if theres anyone that knows howta fix this ill supply the 6pack and mcdonalds lol
