E-brakes

super fast entries or entries where you're too high in the gear to clutch kick.
long entries
extensions
add in angle
slow down
corrections

See now thats perfect i agree on that 100% but like i been saying if your entering at the skid pad with ebrake your loosing speed wich you want to have. Everyone is gonna have thier own styles that they throw in but this list above is a good example of when ebrake should or can be used to benifit your entry transition and line.

obviously you aren't going to use it on the skid pad, you were just arguing to feel special. Admit it

Skid pad entry is a entry that i think almost everyone on here can relate to so used it as an example to explane why you shouldnt use ebrake to enter which goes back to why the guy that started all this who drives a boosted car should not be entering with an ebrake at such slow speeds. Read up first then you can say all you want unless you dont care and you just posting to be a dick instead of helping ppl that are looking for answers.

If the skid pad is the place to learn to drift, and I can't use my ebrake there, then how do I learn to drift?

Might be a stupid ? But then ppl call me crazy so I dunno

Your misunderstanding the point on entry you should not use it because you loose speed but it is a great spot for you to play around with it and get use to it and how the car is going to react but like someone else already posted on here if you cant atleast link the skid pad with you eyes closed you shouldnt really be thinking of doing fast early entries with the ebrake... walk befor you run

there is more than just ebrake style entries.

there are like 10 listed there, but really, you use clutch kicks and ebrake as primary, and throw in additional components (like feint) as needed for the entry speed, actual speed in drift, degree of turn, length of turn, setting up the next turn, and all that. at first just worry about getting the ass out and balancing it, once you get that down you can start to work on going fast with more angle, then you can start to worry about line, then things will just start to flow and you'll never stop learning how to not suck at it.
