ok i kno ive seen posts b4 bout ebay turbo kits....
now ive seen one for a fair price......

its new..but i worry it needs an oil restictor and to reclock it
so has anyone had any usage of theses turbos...
mine is shot and it needs rebuild...
now its not like i cannot rebuild it myself....
its jus i have a thing bout puttin used stuff on my sr20det...
money is not that good....so im lookin for alternatives....
ive been searching on the web for horro stories and havent really found any real bad rap on any ebay turbos...
but this is specifically for an sr20det....
so any one plz chime in:cool:
 
You have a problem with putting used stuff on your motor....but your motor was used when you put it in?
Dont waste your money on that shit. Get a stock t25, or get a cool turbo.
 
get that shit out of here! Check Zilvia,Craigslist,here...

get a used t25 garret or save up!
 
yeah well i got a window of 3wks b4 im bak on d street....and that ebay turbo fits in my budget.....i have been thinkin jus get a carbon seal rebuild kit wit a 360thrush bearing.....
i even found a write up on the rebuild.....so i jus might break it down an rebuild her and save up for a real t28.......im jus bein lazy...u werk on everyone elses car an never am motivated for my coupe.....

Just get it. I know over 10 people running different ebay turbos for years now with no problems.
 
dude just get your stock t25 rebuilt...miketurbo of us27 rebuilt mine for 250...shits brand new 3058859084 thats there number
 
yeah the ebay t25 is a bitch to install mainly because the oil feed doesnt line up if you have stock lines if you do it i would def go with stainless lines
 
Just make sure it doesn't have any shaft play and your good. What Finn said there's muiltple people running eBay turbines and there still good.
 
Thanxs For The Info Gentlemen I Appreciate The Input...yeah An I Was Worried Bout The Lines..linnig Up Too..BUT ILL PROBABLY REBUILD IT MYSELF ..THE KIT COST LIKE 0NE FACE CARD and Im Gunna Daily It For A Bit..so I Need Sum Reliability...out Of My Descision....respect
