HEy all.
ive Searched all around bout all i can find about EGR is how to Either Fix it or Remove it completelly.

now.
on the Ka24De the rear pipe that goes from the EGR on the intake many to the Exhaust many.

the pipe is broken at the exhaust many. and it sounds like shit.
can i take off the pipe and plug the hole and Crush the pipe?
is the pipe a Vacuum?
should i leave it open?
or Cap it?

lmk your getto fixes.
im bout to Crush this bEatch.
but i dun want to mess up my car.

ps , i already tryed pixing the hole with JB weld but it expanded after a month and it came off... :ugh:
 
Remove Both Ends Cut The Pipe Before The Ends
Put A Nickel In The Exhaust Mani
And Intake Use Rtv
And Bolt The Ends Back In
 
good solution and it works but i personally prefer to remove the manifold take off all the crap it doesnt need get the hole welded shut 15 bucks and put fresh gaskets in all it costs 30 buck for everything but thats just what i would do ......+1 on the nickle in the exhaust side problem solved
 
what if i plug the exhaust and leave the pipe open just hanging there?
i cant get to the intake many side witout taking it off. and it aint worth all the trouble.
 
^^...Well you know where I live and My 240 is running without any problems now....I took the whole thing off not halfway like other people do....One thing though You will be wasting gas like a Bi*ch!!!!
