Electronic Scoring - Bye bye Judges

it was more freestyle right? no 'exact' course? I saw a few runs posted around now. Looks amazing. and the semi idea is a ricers dream hahahaha.

Opens up a whole stunt show aspect to our sport which we need.

After watching the event I agree it's kinda like when monster truck racing added a freestyle comp to their events. a lot more people started to watch. This could be where drifting would have to go to get more spectators.

^^ with it open layout like that, it allows for people to "one-up" each other with more daring moves.

Yes and no.

From what I understand you HAVE to run the course a certain way first, then you have to rack up as many points as you can by "freestyling" the rest of it which is anywhere between 30 seconds to a minute.

yea every video i saw so far has them slide down the side of the semi, then ride the end wall and come back under the semi, then its all random.... just from vids ive seen.

Yeah we'll have the media from the event up hopefully by tonight with an article. The video will take a bit longer unfortunately. Our NZ team did a fanastic job. :bigthumbu
