ok heres the deal
im looking on gettin an s14 shell and dropping a 2jz or rb25 or sr20 in it i dont know which one?
if you guys could give me engine suggestions it would help, thanks
i was wondering who in or around the 239 would be qualified to do this
i will throw in cash of course but i want it done the right way and not ghetto rigged

The SR requires the least amount of work, the motor will drop in and the wiring is simple enough if you know what your doing, The other 2 will require custom motor mounts modified x-members as well as a lot more wiring than the SR swap......what you choose depends on what your goals are with this car..........
 
seriously no one knows how to use a search button anymore. There is more info on this on the Internet, let alone our site, than there is porn for god sakes. You can't make up your mind about what motor you want by asking others what they prefer. Do the research, find out everything you can about every option out there and make your desicion
 
I prefer the JZ swap over any other swap in a 240 unless your ridin in a RHD 240. Only motor on your list that keeps the turbo a nice distance between it and an old rival.....the master cylinder's reservoirs!! NO...heat wrap and fancy gold foil doesn't make me feel safer! And besides they sell a "KIT" for virtually any of the swaps you are interested in achieving. Search yahoo, google, here on this forum. Just search and you will get the answers YOU need, not the ones GIVEN to you by others!
