Hey, well, i finally got power back today. :D Just posting to make sure everyone on here is ok. I was reading some of the other posts and for starters i feel sorry for kwkouki. :( Wilma sure did a number on you man. Sorry about your loss. On the bright side, your still alive. :) I had my hand full during the hurricane... Was going through a mission trying to keep the shutters from my sisters room from flopping around. Thats what I get for not screwing in the bottom bolts for her shutters. :eek: Oh well. We survived.

I made it! To bad I have to drive all the way here to DANS HOUSE to use the internet. Got Power, Water BUT NO FRIGGIN PHONE!
 
hey kouki, dont sweat it man, if you decide to build another drift car, im sure the next one will be twice as good as the last. ;) **** happens. I mean dont get me wrong, we'd wrather it not have happened in the first place but theres nothing that can be done about it now. Once again, be glad your alive. I am, altho i dont really know you. :rolleyes:

And whats up with your phone zak? i imagine wilma got tired of you spending all those late night hours on the phone talking to all the ladies. :p I know what its like. You get used to one luxury, then when you lose it, it really sucks. I just hope everyone gets there lives back together soon. :cool:

:eek: i imagine that its just cosmetic damage... what? a damaged window? scratched paint? dents? or all of the above? Hope its nothing too seriouse.

Wilma, what a gay name for a hurricane. They should have named it Nomuken. to bad they do the names in ABC order.
 
I got power back Tuesday, but still no cable. Which is bad, as I have cable internet. The most damage we got was a few screens blew out of our screen enclousure for the pool... And a **** load of tree debris. I just finished picking all that stuff up yesterday.

Its good to hear nothing seriouse happened Rex. Still, the sad fate of a man without cable... :( We will all pray for the safe return of your entertainment. :p
 
I just got power back last night..i think they said something about N broward getting it the worst..and thats where i am..but thankfullly nothing happend to my car or house...just candles and cold showers baby!!

I kind of did... walked outside to see what was really happening and when i turned back around i forgot wich house was mine... :rolleyes: Oh well. I found it after a few hours of searching. :D
 
All is good! I got my cable back on Saturday... My power on Wensday prior to that, and I had to go on the roof and replace a few shingles. Thats about it! Glad to hear no-one else had to suffer too badly.
 
I'm still out of power and I'm in Hollywood, I believe its some "minor" pole that FPL wil save for "later" according to the priority list. The whole hurricane thing actually pissed me off because I thought we had enough with Frances and Katrina, but then we actually had to be affected by Wilma... however as much as we can argue with nature, we're never gonna win... so whatever, I just want my power back, and even though it sucked for a lot of people, I believe the storm could have been much, much worse.
