fender rolling

Baseball bat or metal pipe. What size tires are you using on what size wheel...front or back?

they do hav a machine u can rent.im not sure where but chek the sfl240 site they did a write up on it.i thnk sum1 even has 1 they will lend out and its made for rolling yur fenders ;)

i have the tool and i am the guy from sfl240 kyle rents it from me all the time..

i will roll the fenders but i charge $25 per fender.

Why U Runnin A 50 Series Tires In The Rear. If You Run A 45 U Will Have No Problems. And I Am Running 225 In The Front And I Have No Problems Whatsoever.

Don't confuse fender rolling with fender pulling guys...fender rolling is easy. Heat gun and hammer, heat gun and baseball bat, or rent a roller on your own online (splparts, tirerack, ect).

yes i roll the fender which will eliminate the lip that is on the inside of the fender i will be rolling my fenders tommorw and i will have some before and after pics.

as far as paint chiping i cant promise anything but with the heat gun nothing usally happens...

and yes you can rent the tool at those web sites but you will have to pay shipping to you and back to them plus pay for the rentail and leave a deposite. your choice..

i will post pictures tommrow

and yes i have done this befor mainly on othere 240's if you want a refrence you can ask kyle from sfl240sx.com

i dont know about you but i wouldent take a hammer or baseball bat to my fenders..

I'm just giving people options. If 4 or 5 of them get together it would cost them next to nothing. And there's nothing wrong with a hammer or bat technique if you're patient and know what you're doing.

well this is just my oppinion but the word technique i would think it would be with a bat or a hammer

my oppion once agian this is like useing a adjustible wrench that will most likely strip a bolt, when you can just use a sockect that makes you feal that much more secure.

When you're looking for the "fastest and easiest way", a bat is it. I did it on my green hatch and it came out perfect. Actually, before I crashed the crap out of that car people would ask me who pulled my fenders b/c they did get pulled slightly and came out looking good somehow.

A roller is better/safer, I'm not argueing that.

Thanks guys but all i did was roll it with a hammer and i took out the extra rear diff in which i had in my hatch, hopfully that works and if not ill figure out a way make it stop rubbing.

225/50/17 is HUGE...you want to run a 40 but that is even still b igger overall diamter then stock 205/60/15 so i would go with 35 or 40...

also 215s up gront and 255zs in the rear, haha HOLY UNDERSTEER.

also wtf 215/40/17 wtf man thats still small you need 45 up front to keep the stock overall diamter of 195/60/15, your tire sizes are all ****ed up.....i say go with 215/45/17F ad 255/35/17R to keep the sidewalls the same on all 4 corners....honestly those tires width are off like a *****....

a rule of thumb is for ever TWO sizes wider then stock width you go -5 on the aspect ratio (sidewall) also when you go ONE inch wheel height taller you also go -5 on the sidewall.

so stock base models are 195/60/15 so to run 215s and keep the same overrall diamter you would need 45 as the sidewall. or to get the same overall diamter of 205/60/15 you go ONE size wider in your front tires so it would be 225/45/17.
