idk majority of them are alot older and are very rude and opininated i just dont like ppl that dont have anything good to say besides that forum is dead i abandoned it everytime i go to check sumtin im the only active user on lol

Rude? You and Vanish were the ONLY people who ever had to be put on probation due to your posts so if people were rude to you then you brought it onto yourself by your posts. In fact, one of your battles where you got bitter was instigated by none other then Vanish so that just goes to show you people who act poorly get dealt with.

And one of your last threads posted about the countyline drift event, which when u PM'd me about posting it I approved it and put it in the event section for you. Where's the rudeness in that thread? All I saw was support of the idea and people announcing they were going to attend

Long story short, don't take 3 or 4 members you find to be rude and apply it to the other 900. Did you ever go to a meet and try and introduce yourself to people? Every forum has a couple people that are rude.

Anyone who has met me in person knows I am not rude and if anything I am extremely outgoing and willing to talk to anyone. Most of my friends are the same way. IIRC I was nice to you when I met you in person at the countyline drift event.

Anyways, that's a lot of votes but very few people speaking up... let it be known... I have several friends and aquaintances through this site and I will continue to be cool with them regardless... if we never do another joint meet so be it.

Pre-2003 drift craze, this segregation would have been unheard of. Just spotting another 240 on the road was enough to make you bust a U-turn and make a new friend regardless of what they used their car for. A shame the scene has become like this.

The whole reason behind joint meets was to bring the South Florida 240 and other RWD community together since most of us share a common vehicle but if we have to be all 1950's about it and segregate ourselves that's just :lame: and :ghey:

For the record, we have the same thread on my site with the majority of people having voted for another joint event like how we have done in the past (Coast guard base, Markham Park, etc.) so it seems the "rudeness" is falling on SFLdrifters.

I don't like what I see . This is a forum that wants to be selfish and not greet others from another forum? Have we gone back to middle school and can't get along with others? I will tell you this, this thread is a not a decision maker, but If it came down to me It will be desapoining to choose only one forum.

I have a link of this thread on their forum thinking that both forums were gonna have mutual decision, I guess I was wrong . There are people here that love to vote but do not speak out and vent out the why's????

The decision is up to you if you want to be welcomed. I love both forums to come together for the simple fact that you are the only two sites that I'm on all the time. You all have been good to JDM Of Miami, but right now I'm loosing faith in all of you. Please reconsider and vote for fairness not hate.

i understand where you guys are coming from. honestly, this is the only car forum that I visit anymore. I rarely log on to SFL240sx, but when I do, i barely see any activity as Mike was saying above. I'm not saying it's dead, as I'm sure it's not...just seems that way to me...but then again i dont own a 240sx yet, so i guess i don't have much say on it. As for rudeness, I myself cant recall any moment of rudeness on the site.

in closing...i guess i was being a bit close-minded about voting No. meeting new peeps is always cool. my bad to sfl240sx, didnt mean to upset anybody...especially since i'll soon be more active in the page with an S13 coming soon :bigthumbu

I got ur back Kyle. I can see why Mike here is saying there's more older ppl on is becuz we don't tolerate child like behavior here (not dissing sfldrifters but I call it like I see it). Over here you can get away w/ acting like if ur in high school where as the other forum it's more mature which is why these youngins call it boring. I won't mind a joint...event. I had fun at the BBQ at the coast guard base and it was a successful event.

Majority of which members would not get along? Are you still under the impression this is the first time we have a joint event? We get along just fine within SFL240SX as well as with other forums. I helped throw probably the largest Nissan BBQ Florida has ever had back in 2003 with nearly 300 Nissans in attendance representing forums all over Florida and other states without a single dirty look from one person to another. People all mingled amongst each other and EVERYONE had a great time.

I'm gonna tell you the same thing I told Vanish... if you showed up to a meet and met everyone in person you would find them to be a friendly group. Juan aka Xero showed up to our last meet and everyone was cool with him.

idk who vanish is but like ive said b4 ive made it to the el dorado meets and what not and ive seen and been on the forum i found sfl240 b4 i found sfld idk i just had the feeling the 2 would not get along ive met u like 3-4 times and i dont think u realized who i was until th last time i met u at countyline lol i just dont think theyd get along just because the opinions alot of the members have about drifting thats all i regret my first post as it DID come out a lil blunt but i just thought it was a bad mix i hadnt heard bout the meet in 03 but if u say so go for it guys and by da way did u ban me??? lol i cant log in on sfl240sx lol

I didn't ban you I just deactivated your account after reading your first post regarding what you had to say about my site. If you abandoned us like you said I figured you would not be returning. I deactivate and delete accounts that stay dormant so the member count stays accurate.

The forums do have their differences as mentioned. There is definately a much younger crowd here and posting is much more oriented to a lot of OT inside jokes but to each his own. I modeled my forum after FreshAlloy.com where I have been a member for quite some time. It's not strict but my mods and I do enforce the few rules I have set. We still have fun but I try and focus on 240 content as often as possible. It's harder these days now that everything has been done to 240's over and over but we manage to generate new ideas from time to time and are always there to help with peoples car troubles and or support a new project like GSRACER and Miami240's latest creations.

As far as posting, it's a little slower on my site as most people work full time jobs and/or have families and sometimes kids to worry about so getting online to post isn't as frequent as they would like. Also, if it is true what someone said that the majority of people here are in high school still then younger crowds who only have to worry about homework after school have much more free time to keep post counts high.

I also noticed that mostly all of SFLd are up north in Broward where as most of the SFL240 guys are down here in Dade. That probably kept a lot of people from meeting each other.

If I met you at a meet before my bad for not remembering, I meet a lot of new faces at meets and it takes a couple times of seeing someone for me to start recognizing familiar faces and remembering names. I recognized you at countyline before we bumped into each other so I remembered you. That was a fun event by the way. The rain made the drifting even better and stopped me from getting a nasty sunburn.

You guys on SFLdrifters.com are closed minded young twits that don't know how much respect you owe Kyle and SFL240sx.com He organizes an clean, informative, resourceful, well organized awesome website and outstanding meets and heres some pics to tell you what I'm talking about. If you think the website is dead, well maybe because they actually show up at meets or have a life. I owe this guy, not just a shirt but my full support for helping with Myculture's first sexy car/sexy model photoshoot. He even risked getting chewed out by his gf for us. lol. Anyway If you think this party will be less fun if we include him and his friends, you guys just look at the pictures. They had SR's and RB's when we were sucking on our moms' DD's. If you want to learn a thing or two about your cars, meet some new friends, and have a good time, an open mind is all you need. By the way, these pictures are ALL from the SAME DAY.
