flywheel and converter removal?????

damn i got a big problem i need to remove the flywheel and converter of my ka24de for my swap but the engine is locked up what can i do??????:confused:

i see some bolts i belive are to the raer seal if i can remove them will it all slide out together????
 
what? just take the tranny off and the tq converter will stay attached to the flex plate. once the tranny is off you can remove all the bolts take it off then take the fly wheel off bla bla bla.... shouldnt you look into why your motor wont turn over? or do you not care about that?

yea but i need to remove the bolts i can only do 1 by 1 and i need to turn it over to see each bolt from the bottom....
and the motor is blown im doing a swap to another ka.......
 
if you remove the whole tranny from the motor pull it off the converter should stay on there you can then remove the bolts with a wrench. you really should figure out why your motor wont turn over....
 
if u mean the flexplate (flywheel in autos) there are 4 bolts that u need to remove,

Remove the front lower covers of the tranny(support between the engine and tranny) so u can see the flex plate and the bolts u remove one at a time and turn the engine 1/4 of a turn so u can remove the next one and so on:bigthumbu

opps ur engine is lock up, remove em together engine and tranny imo and make it 5sp at this point

lol yea i got that far already but the motor is locked up so i cant turn it to get each bolt.......
 
put a big socket and breaker bar on the crank pully in the front and you should be able to turn it over..

or pull the motor and tranny then swap the tranny and put it back
 
does int ur dad own a shop??????
has in it been like 2 years since u took my ka n u still cant get it running?
