Fog lights...Fail.

So i had a pair of fog lights laying around....the Pilot brand...which i know it already sucks. So i put them on wire them how they're supposed to be wired according to the manual..and they work GREAT! Their remote control and everything which makes it even cooler. But now..two days later they dont work no more. I checked the fuse...still good. Battery on the controller is still good, i have no idea what it could be. It does have a blue remote wire..that i left hanging a bit so i can get better reception, im thinking it got wet or something but its wire that goes to the box, should be water proof. I dunno anyone have any suggestion before i wire them str8 to the daylight driving lights?

They look like these:

Check the wiring. The lights do make intense heat and may have burned up a wire. The wires that come in the package are also relatively cheap and can break/burn easily. You may have a burnt out wire somewhere. You may also want to consider replacing the wires with a better insulated, and heavier gauge wire.

Yea ground was the first thing i checked. And yea i was thinking of wiring to the side markers....but the wiring goes from 4 wires to the lights(positive negative positive negative) to two wires into that box thing. do i cut the two before the box or cut the four and run each light to the side marker of its side?

sorry bro, but i think you have to delete the controller (if controller is blown) n replace it with a switch...

ground----(black wire)----[fog1]----(red wire)----\
..................................................................(spliced together)----[Switch]----- 12v source
ground----(black wire)----[fog2]----(red wire)----/

*ignore the " ... "
