for a million dollars would you....

thats crazy. but in my eyes i dont think 20 years in a state prison is worth 2million dollars. thats 20years you will NEVER get back and no amount of money can compensate for that

I agree.. Id rather be be broke as f*ck and have fun then spend 20 years in prison getting my ass pounded... heh
 
so wait they pay himn and they also discount taxes :O lol! besides working for the state doing plates or something else... and loose 20 years of his life, he has to pay taxes on that money are they insane :O
 
well i mean yea it sucks. no one would pick 20 years for 2 million dollars. but for him its better than them just opening the gates and saying hey we fucked up sorry we wasted 20 years of your life see ya later! at least their giving him something..
 
There is no amount of money that could repay this man for the 20 years he lost... Yes its better then getting out with nothing, but look at the time he wasted.. Kids, family, friends, LIFE... There is no life in Prison.. The justice system is Bull SHIT.... There are probably hand fulls of similar cases of unfair false/ imprisonment. Are justice system is strong but weak (oxymoron) at the same time for this to happen and its just unacceptable..

Thats 100k a year tax free....meals for free...housing for free, sure it sucks...but I bet its a better pension plan than he would have ever gotten.
