WOW!

i guess, to each their own.

i dont know but mines didnt hurt until he got the collar bone lol, i actually fell asleep a couple of times, maybe it was the fact that i was sitting there for 6 sessions and every session was 5 hours... and i have to go back to finish my full sleeve, since i was a little kid i always wanted a sleeves and i always wanted a munewari... I like to keep my tattoos to myself, i hate showing them... they are my possession, and i have choosen the japanese irezumi/horimono style of tattoo due to its meanings, i have spent over 3 years researching on the meaning of japanese tattoo symbolism, the meaning of things like Sakuras to Kakushibori.

i thought irezumi and horimono just meant tatooing in japanese???

Irezumi is what they tattooed the criminals during the EDO period, it has now become to be commonly known as Tattooing, horimono is the art of tattooing no using the machine, but the spear. Horimono is the way you normally see the yakuza tattoos, small work pieces made by tattoo artists (not masters) are sometimes called irezumi..... work my masters like Horiyoshi are refer to as Horimono.
