We have heard rumors of this since the Redbull Championship but it looks like Formula D has officialy made drifting in 2009 top 32. This really puts a mix on everything moving into competition for the new season. Top ranked drivers could be knocked out by low ranking drivers that are slow or make high ranked drivers commit errors on the track.
This also means that all day Saturday will be tandem runs and no single run drifting. This is a move that will really give fans a great deal for their hard earned dollar. We cannot wait to see how this will mix things up at Formula D Long Beach.
