I have some friends staying down there for a few days for vacation and they are looking for some suggestions of things to do down there.

Anyone know of some fun things to do or cool restaurants to eat at or somethin?
 
gulf coast town center , fort myers beach , naples pier , sanibel / captiva islands , marco island , there's kinda a lot of fun places n things to do i suppose...mostly beach / shopping related, which is what you do on vacations. i'll try to think of more things .
 
they can go to the shooting range up there thats always theres alot of guns u can rent but yea pretty much just beach n shopping theres a imax theater up there too i think
 
what stlh said. gulf coast town center which is just a little south of fort myers has alot to offer. bar luie, ale house, and if the weather is nice go down to bonita beach find a little boat rental place and take a boat out on the bay and enjoy the day. they can also go down town fort myers if they want to go out there. a number of places to check out.
