I'm actually extremely excited about Forza Horizon... They're working with the same people who made Dirt and Grid. Both excellent games (graphics wise), while keeping the Forza engine. So the graphics are gonna be amazing and will feel exactly like Forza 4... I love the idea of open world, the only other race game that was like that was the Midnight Club series. The open world was sick, the actual physics of that game sucked though. It's gonna be a nice change of scenery, not to mention rally racing and canyon runs.

I REALLY wish I could bet on this, but I can't. Most of the time ,or ALL of the time if you look at the past, these games are aimed at the guys that don't like games like Forza and GT5 cuz they're "too hard" and boring cuz you don't get to run from the cops and break stuff. Basically, the market for these games is mostly the younger crowd. And even though they will be reusing the same physics engine, it doesn't mean it will be employed in the same manner.
What pisses me off is that I would love these kinds of games, they look like a shit load of fun TBH, but the shitty, arcady, physics always ruin them for me.
Hopefully they use Forza 4's physics model to it's fullest and we end up with the very first game that combines REALISTIC car handling along with all the fun stuff we don't normally get with simulator type games.
Lets keep our fingers crossed, but don't get your hopes too high.
