so i just recently did a full 5 lug conversion...brand new hubs front and rear...everything went smooth no problems but now i'm noticing that whenever i'm braking at about 45-50mph my left front wheel shakes real bad for about 2 or 3 seconds then stops...wheel is on tight so is the rotor and caliper...could it be that i need an alighnment?
any input would help ...thanks

did you have the rotor redrilled? if not just have both rotors machined and that should sovle it. But if they were redrilled then the holes are probably off a hair.

well i did the z32 front brake conversion and at first the front rotors were redrilled for 4 lug but never had any shaking problems...but when i went five lug i just bolted it up to the 5 lug holes and now im having this problem??..thanks for the input though dude appreciate it

the holes from redrilling shouldnt be a problem because the rotors are centered from the studs holes, its centered from the hub. but if someone did the worlds worse redrill it could unbalance the rotor

no no wheel spacers...please guys help me out its killing imma try and get a friends rotors and see if thats the problem but any more input would really help

check your wheel bearings. its possible that they could cause the shake. also rotors could be warp

btw what wheels are u using and what did u put them on with torque wrench, impact, etc. its rare but over tightening wheels with an impact can psychically warp wheels and rotors. so take into consideration the wheel bearings, warped rotors, wheel balance, and all other front end components

yup check bearing play

the wheels bearings are brand new though??...but thanks guys im going to wait to get my new wheels on then at that time ill change the flca bushings and get some new rotors...if that doesnt work ill let you guys know for some more help :bigthumbu
