yea i did more research. apparently the rumor has surfaced some way or another throughout the county with only one instance having some credibility behind it.

1) Don't flash your lights at cars with their lights off at night. Gang initiation = You dead!
2) Don't go to Wal-mart, K-mart, Home Depot, etc etc. Gang initiation = You dead!
3) Don't go to 4th of July fireworks. Terrorist target = You dead!
4) Don't use amoco to pump gas. HIV+ needle hidden in pump = You dead!
5) Don't trick or treat this year, Glass and blades hidden in candy = You dead!
The majority of the time is just IRL trolling and urban legends, but the best thing to do is to just be aware of your surroundings all the time. Sounds paranoid but you can avoid most trouble that way.
