I also been keeping my eye on these things since bout 2 years ago.
And I believed Peter Schiff...
I remember other financialist and economist laughing their ass off at him and'his predictions.
NOw they have to put their head down.
The US is a good country but unfortunately the mismanaging of dollars by the government for the past 40+ years has slowly caused this
world power to go into ruin.
People wanna go and ignore this fact until it hits them in the face...

I love glenn beck. He's a zany recovered alcoholic who knows a thing or two about economics. Sure, his history lesson was a little off about our monetary system, but his economic stance is spot on w/ a market economy. He's been anit-bailout since it was conceived and has always given good advice to his listeners. I believe he's pretty fair and unbiased until his religious beliefs come into play.

And I have been saying it for years here myself - but nobody wants to listen b/c nobody wants to take personal responsibility - the savings rate in America is the biggest problem w/ our economy. The bottom line of ALL prominent economic theories recognizes that saving = investment; investment = growth. Therefore, saving = growth.

I have the utmost respect for Anderson Cooper with his 10 most wanted list for the economic crash in America when he pointed out the #1 cause was "you," meaning Americans. I have mentioned this before as well, the savings rate in China - a developing country - is higher than the savings rate in America. And that's per capita based on percentage of income, not some bloated statistic based on sheer numbers.

Personally I believe it will take a huge crash for people to wake up - a clean slate if you will.

i also agree that as unfortunate as it may be

Biggest problem is we have people up there who think they can control the economy in the first place. This is supposed to be a free market system. You can't centrally manage a free market system and expect it to actually work.

yeah I hate fox news also but the two people there are people who I sorta trust ish.

I like peter schiff and glenn beck, its too bad that Glenn is on fox news now but he hasnt really changed. And Peter I just happened to like the way he explained when he was on fox business because they gave him more time than usual.

Fox news is the least bias mainstream news source on TV today IMO. Fox exists to cope with the obvious bias of other major networks while also giving republican representatives a chance to report to the people. Prior to Fox, they had no chance outside of radio. I sometimes hear bias on Fox but no more than CNN (which DOES have a left bias...shit just watch the video above, the reporter is arguing FOR socialism - wtf!?). If you want to talk shit about a network, MSNBC is where its at. They are the most biased news source in the mainstream today. MSNBC is so damn bias that even the NY Times reported their bias AND democrats argue that bias exists within the democratic bias. In other words, Clinton supporters accused MSNBC of being bias towards Obama while not giving Hillary enough attention/support. I don't really watch much of any station though...just if I'm bored.

They were/are riding Obama b/c nobody else did/is. That's the point. Even Stephen Colbert (I think we can both agree he's an equal opportunity offender) came out and announced that the mainstream media outlets need to stop sucking Obama's dick and start pressing some issues, its that ridiculous. My claim is entirely opinionated (which is why I said IMO), but I also only choose to watch certain hosts, like Glenn Beck whereas I ignore others, like Sean Hannity (who I think is a dumbfuck and really cannot stand).

but Colbert did say that he supports Obama. I watch fox News with my Dad. He says we have to watch it to keep an eye on the enemy.

the funny thing with colbert is that hes a democrat that gets payed to play a repulican. I agree sean hannity might be one of the dumbest person on TV.
