So I've been looking around for an SR20DET but the more I think about it I want to just jump right into the V8s. Yeah, I've heard all you guys saying "Oh learn without power and you'll be better". I understand that and I totally agree IF I had a motor already in the car. My '91 hatchback 240sx came as a shell basically with a blown motor. We pulled it and now we're looking for a new one.

This thread is just to let the community know that I'm looking for an LS1. A deal. I can find them all over the place for $1-1500. I'm in no rush either since I still need to put a roll cage in and paint it.

So if you come across anything let me know :shady:
 
Throw a ka in it for now so u can learn so stuff. And save the rest of your money for a future v8 swap
 
If you want a V8 then get a V8. I started right off the bat with a RB25 because thats what I wanted. Ya it's great to learn with under power cars but if you got the money and means to do it then I say go for it and learn that way. No point in building something you don't want

This isn't the point of the thread though ^^ I know I want V8. I'm just seeing who has one or knows where to get one.
 
Didn't realize this was the wtb forum. But seriously If you can't figure out the Internet you probably don't need a car let alone a v8.
