Good place to take off tints?

i'm guessing just spray the amonia on there while i'm wearing a black trash bag as a protective shield?!

i find it most effective if you spray the ammonia into the trash bag prior to putting it over your head. give it a try and report back.

get boiling water in a sprayer thing and get soap water in another spray it down with boiled water and then spray with soap, get a razor and start scrapping it off. it takes a long ass time but it works. spray the window a lot like when you stop peeling the sticky stuff and just the tint, spray that shit down! it takes a long ass time

removing tints its one of the biggest pain in the ass job to do. thats why shops charge 50 or more. if u want to save ur defrost go to a shop and mention that to them ... they usually scrape rear window with blades that means bye bye defroster but it all depends in how bad are ur tints...

U get the trash bag and spray it with the amonia, spray the window also(inside) then put the wet part of the bag on the window (inside) let sit in the hot sun for a while then get a blade and start pealing from the corner and that's it, everything will come of like nothing.

This is how I did mines and It WORKS!!!

lol... the horrible grammar on this page is outrageous...who refers to tint in a plural form? referring to it as tints and them....lol...sorry about the grammar police

they sell a tint removal spray at advanced, its basically ammonia, do what they have mentioned about spraying it on the windows and the garbage back and the bag will stick on glass while it soaks into the glue... it also helps to make a few light slits with a razor blade so it soaks in faster, just make sure u dont scratch the glass or the defroster... also leave it in the sun while its soaking
