It's really all up to personal taste, do you like heavy, light, more flavored or strong. The only way to really know is to try. My first "real" cigar (not talking about black and milds and capones) was a Gurkha Grand Reserve, basically it's one that is dipped in Cognac and I do highly recommend trying it...very smooth. Well for me.
I am still new to this as well, they are so many types and rolls...they are all mixed differently so each one has it's own unique flavor and blend.
If you decide you ever want to smoke one I would def recommend going to a Cigar Shop and just asking, usually the guy behind the counter knows and likes his job and will recommend based on what you like (or think you would like). Then from there you can go online and read about similar types of cigar and just go from there. Alot of sites do offer what are called samplers which let you order about 5+ cigars from different companies that you can try out and see which you like (no they are not free lmao). If you do decide to go that route just don't forget a humidor
Also don't forget, there is a technic to lighting and smoking these...if you just light it up like a cig it might not burn right and you will not fully enjoy it.
I could def recommend some for you guys if you would like (TJ can also...he is the only other one here that I know that smoke's Cigars).
